GlobalConnect Selects Integrated BroadSoft-Rodopi Solution for Its Retail and Wholesale VoIP Services

SAN DIEGO, CA and GAITHERSBURG, MD, US, Feb. 11, 2008 – Rodopi Software, a provider of billing and provisioning for broadband services, and BroadSoft Inc., a leading provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) application software, announced today that Global Connect A/S, a leading Danish telecom provider of fiber-optics-based services in Northern Europe, has chosen a BroadSoft-Rodopi integrated solution to provide wholesale and retail VoIP services throughout Denmark and parts of Sweden and Germany. Rodopi OSS provisions and bills GlobalConnect’s offerings – Hosted PBX, SIP Trunking and white-label retail VoIP – all delivered on the latest version of BroadSoft’s BroadWorks® platform.

GlobalConnect provides carrier-class network infrastructure solutions for the communications industry, large enterprises, government agencies and resellers. The company offers carrier-class connectivity throughout Denmark, western Sweden and northern Germany, making it the preferred alternative to the established national telecom companies in the region. In late 2007, Global Connect acquired IP services operator SuperTel to extend its existing solutions portfolio.

Using BroadWorks, fully managed and automated by Rodopi OSS and personalized customer portals, GlobalConnect will manage and automate its IP wholesale, SIP Trunking and Class 5 services. Global Connect will launch its new IP services for enterprise and wholesale residential users in the coming weeks
